Repair

Repair is all of the activities carried out by authorized engineers to make medical devices that cannot serve due to malfunction or damage work again.

SafeBiomed makes annual or one-off periodical maintenance&repair contracts for all medical devices used in hospitals and clinics. These contracts may include/exclude parts.

SafeBiomed determines the order of intervention for the faulty device to be repaired by considering the following criteria.

• The extent to which medical device failure affects patient and employee health and safety.
• Biomedical type of medical device
• Place of use of the medical device
• The extent to which it affects health service continuity
• Whether there is a backup of the device
